And so the journey begins.

I have been an avid reader and writer since i was 8 years old. i still remember the first book that I had revived as a gift from my mother. thought at that time I didn't think I would love reading as a passion due to my mothers constant insistence I began reading and fell in love that very instant. my first set of books were from the Percy Jackson series and I remember reading every book from the series from the first page to the last page on repeat.I also remember first getting access to the internet and finding out Rick Riordan had other series as well, and so began my rather annoying pestering that my mother had to endure to buy me the serpents shadow. And that continued from Percy Jackson to harry potter to throne of glass and most recently to wind and truth by Brandon Sanderson.

But along with my journey into reading there was also an obsession to write stories and novels though unsuccessfully. Every time I started writing one of two things would happen. Either I would hit a creative block or it would get so long winded that I would eventually give up and move onto something else.

After all of my past experiences with writing, On 24th of May 2025 I started my journey into novel writing with my novel Duel. This was based on my new years resolution that i had promised to do in 2025. there are 2 resolutions I had made, to finish a novel by November and to get it published by the end of 2025. I not only hope to keep my resolutions but to also hope to help other aspiring writers show the journey I will go on. hopefully this will turn into a learning experience for myself and the other people that read the blogs. To the journey and the stories coming ahead.
